George Soros’s son pushes panicked Democrats to get behind Biden

Alex Soros, Democratic billionaire donor George Soros's son, attempted to corral straying Democrats back into President Joe Biden ’s camp as panic grows over the 81-year-old’s bid for reelection.

On Wednesday, Alex Soros urged Democrats to end intraparty conflicts over concerns the president is not mentally fit for another term in the White House.

“Let's stop running against ourselves and run against the existential threat that is Donald Trump! Biden-Harris 2024!" he posted to X.

The younger Soros's message for Democrats comes as many in his party have publicly voiced concerns about Biden's cognitive state, with some calling for the presidential incumbent to step aside from his bid for reelection.

The 37-year-old is the son of a billionaire mogul who is widely regarded as one of the most powerful people in the world. The elder Soros is the founder of the far-left Open Society Foundations, a significant global force that has helped shape the landscape of the American justice system, funding prosecutors across the country.

Nearly a year ago, the elder Soros handed over control of OSF to Alex Soros. The chairman of OSF now holds the reins of a colossal empire as he continues to exert influence over American politics.

Alex Soros's support for Biden, as shown in his post to X on Wednesday, is nothing new. In 2023, White House records showed the younger Soros had visited the Biden White House over 20 times.
