    Heat-related illness prompts search and rescue for 2 teens in Diamond Fork Canyon

    UPDATE: The teenagers have been rescued and one was transported to the hospital by ambulance. There is no additional information at this time.

    UTAH COUNTY, Utah ( ABC4 ) — Utah County Search and Rescue crews are working to rescue two teens in Diamond Fork Canyon.

    According to the Utah County Sheriff’s Office , a call came in at 2:10 p.m. about a case of heat-related illness as the two teenagers were in Diamond Fork Canyon heading to the Fifth Water Hot Springs.

    A Department of Public Safety helicopter was called to help in the rescue, which is currently ongoing.
