FRESNO COUNTY, Calif. ( KSEE/KGPE ) – Evacuation warnings for the Basin Fire have been lifted, according to the Fresno County Sheriff’s Office.

The sheriff’s office announced on Thursday all the remaining evacuation warnings have been lifted as containment for the Basin Fire grows. The remaining zones were K30, K31 and K40.

As of Thursday evening, the Basin Fire has burned 14,027 acres and is 92% contained, according to Cal Fire.

Although evacuation warnings and orders have been lifted, deputies say the area east of Pine Flat Reservoir and southwest of Wishon Reservoir is still subject to the forest order closure.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
