Former NCAA and professional women's hockey player Michaela Boyle is returning to the ice, this time as a coach at the the inaugural development camp for the NHL's Utah Hockey Club.

"Being a part of the Utah Hockey Club's NHL Development camp was truly an honor," Boyle said in a press release from her former NCAA program at Robert Morris. "As an aspiring coach, it was another opportunity to learn and grow in a new setting. I was able to see the game of hockey through another new lens with valuable knowledge that I will carry back into the women's game."

Boyle appeared in 16 games for the PHF's Buffalo Beauts in the 2022-2023 season before stepping into coaching this year.

In the NCAA, Boyle played for three different schools beginning at Clarkson before transferring to Robert Morris. When Robert Morris took a hiatus following the 2020-2021 season, Boyle finished her NCAA career with Boston College.

Last season Boyle served as an assistant coach at Breck School, as well as a skills coach at Breakaway Academy. She joins Utah as part of the NHL Coaches' Association (NHLCA) Female Coaches Program.
