A leading streaming platform is luring subscribers with a free trial as Netflix 's new charges for account sharing have left many users disgruntled.

Netflix subscribers with the $15.49 a month Standard plan can now add an extra member outside of their household. Those with the $19.99 a month Premium plan can add two - but they will have to pay. For, each extra user costs an additional $7.99 per month.

Now, a rival streaming platform is offering a full month of content for free . To make the offer even more appealing, you can stream from anywhere and with anyone, as long as you have the correct login details.

This generous offer comes from retail behemoth Amazon, another major player in the streaming world of latest films, TV shows and documentaries. Its streaming platform, Prime Video , is the exclusive home of hit series like The Boys, Clarkson's Farm and Fallout, and boasts a packed library of the latest films like The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes.

Moreover, Prime Video is currently offering a 30-day free trial for users to binge-watch everything on its platform. Once the free trial ends, the subscription fee is £8.99 a month or £95 a year which saves nearly £13.

This deal allows users to enjoy a whole month of free streaming without any additional charges if leaving before the trial period ends. Users can try before they buy with Prime's free one-month trial before committing to the monthly or annual plan.

This gives an opportunity for telly lovers to binge-watch their favourite series without incurring any costs, while the 'household sharing' feature allows users to add another person to their account, extending Prime benefits like free next-day delivery and access to Prime Video . Users can manage this in the 'manage your household' section of their Amazon account to share free access as long as all users live in the same country or region.

We believe there's never been a better time to sign up for Amazon Prime , as not only can you share an account with a family member to watch films, but signing up now also grants you access to the upcoming Prime Day sale . Exclusive to Prime members, Amazon is set to drop prices on its website for a full 48-hour period across July 16 and 17.

During this time, members can enjoy huge discounts on a wide range of items including tech, fashion, and homeware. But Amazon isn't the only platform offering free sharing features, as Apple TV+ and Sky are also providing similar services.

Apple TV+ allows users to share their account with family members through its 'family sharing' feature. This feature can be activated via iPhone settings, allowing up to six people to be invited by entering their email addresses.

Sky subscribers can register up to six devices to their account and share access with friends and family to enjoy content through the Sky Go app. Customers can share their Sky ID which can then be used to log in from any device, anywhere in the UK.
