    Free fries on Friday: These food chains are celebrating National French Fry Day

    ( KTLA ) – Whether you prefer them deep-fried with the perfect amount of salt, baked or in sweet potato form, there’s a fry for everyone. Fries of all shapes and sizes will be celebrated this Friday during National Fry Day.

    In honor of the foodie holiday, food chains nationwide are offering deals for the popular side.

    Here’s what you need to know:

    McDonald’s

    Customers can get a free medium-size McDonald’s fries with any $1 purchase made via the app. The fast-food chain will also give out free fries on Saturday, July 13, via the McDonald’s app, no purchase necessary.

    Jack in the Box

    Jack Box customers can get free fries on Friday for the rest of the year. The offer is valid for new and existing Jack Pack rewards members who make a minimum $1 purchase via the Jack in the Box app.

    Burger King

    Like Jack in the Box, members of the chain’s Royal Perks loyalty program can get a free order of any size fries with a purchase of $1 or more every Friday for the rest of the year.

    Taco Bell

    The chain’s Nacho Fries Pass, an exclusive to rewards members, is back until July 15. The pass, which costs $10, allows pass holders to redeem one order of Nacho Fries daily for 30 days via the Taco Bell app.

    KFC

    KFC loyalty members can get a free order of Secret Recipe fries of any size with any online purchase on Friday.

    Wendy’s

    Wendy’s has been offering free fries on Fridays since April. The deal is available in the Wendy’s app.

    Wahlburgers

    The burger chain, founded by Donnie Wahlberg, Mark Wahlberg and Executive Chef Paul Wahlberg, will give its rewards members free fries when they make a $10 minimum purchase and use the code “fryday” online or in the app.

    Customers who mention WahlClub and show proof that they are enrolled in the loyalty program can redeem the offer in person.

    Smashburger

    Customers can get a regular-sized order of Smash Fries in person or online using the code “FRYDAY24.”

    Raising Cane’s

    Caniac Club members can get a free order of fries. The deal will be automatically loaded into their account and can be redeemed by swiping their club card, placing an order online, or scanning their QR Code within the mobile app.

    New members can join and register by Thursday to get the offer.

    Fatburger

    Until July 14, customers can get a free order of Fat or Skinny Fries with any purchase made in person or online using the code “FRYDAY24.”

    Rally’s

    Until July 14, Checkers & Rally’s Rewards Program members can get a free regular-size order of Fully Loaded Fries with any purchase in the Checkers & Rally’s Rewards app.

    Customers can also enter a contest to win one of 100 Fully Loaded Fry Passes, which gives pass holders free Fully Loaded Fries for a year.

    They’re trying to get people to come in. It has gotten so expensive eating out and ‘fast food’ is very expensive. So people have cut out a lot of spending. They have customers but not like it was years ago. 😢
