Walmart Already Has Halloween Candy, But Some People Think It's Too Early

Summer has just begun, but if you love all things fall and Halloween , you’re probably counting down the days until spooky season starts.

And you’re not alone.

Candymakers have already started releasing info about this year’s Halloween candies and treats, and some of them have already been spotted in Walmart stores.

In June, we reported that Kit Kat and Reese’s would release new flavors for Halloween 2024, and fans were excited. Those candies have now hit Walmart shelves, according to content creator markie_devo , who recently released a TikTok roundup of some of the new goodies we’d be seeing this Halloween.

Kit Kat’s new treat, the Kit Kat Ghost Toast, features its traditional crispy wafers covered in a special cinnamon toast creme, and the new Reese’s Werewolf Tracks feature a vanilla-flavored creme coating the classic peanut butter filling.

If you want these, you have to head to Walmart.

According to Markie , there are a lot of other Halloween and fall goodies hitting store shelves in the coming weeks, but some people are saying it’s too early.

“As much as I want to try it, it’s like chill out. Wait til August or September,” someone commented on Markie’s post.

“Summer just started and we’re already preparing for Fall? I mean, I guess I won’t complain. I love fall!” another person said.

And if you love fall most of all, you can start stocking up for the season right now.

In Markie's roundup, we were intrigued by the Twizzlers Ghosts in cherry flavor. They're classic Twizzlers that have been made bite-sized and shaped like ghosts. Markie says they'll arrive in stores in the coming weeks.

Then there’s the Brach’s Mellowcreme Autumn Leaves Candy , which are chewy, flavored candy pieces shaped like leaves. The flavors include Salted Butterscotch, Pumpkin Spice, Sweet Maple, Caramel Apple and Spiced Cider. They are expected to hit stores as early as August.

If you’re looking for something a little lighter than candy, Danimals Smoothie has released a limited edition Apple Pie flavor. It’s in Hy-vee stores now, but it's not exclusive to that retailer, so keep an eye out for it at your grocery store.

And don’t forget that the Glow-in-the-Dark Oreo packs will be coming to stores soon, too!

While it may seem just a bit early for Halloween and fall items to be hitting shelves, most people who commented on Markie’s TikTok were excited to try these new foods.

One person asked when Starbucks and Dunkin’ would release a sneak peek of their fall menus, to which Markie replied “coming soon.”

Now that’s something to look forward to!
