    Set in the Victorian Alps in Australia, High Country stars Leah Purcell as Andrea Whitfield, a detective who begins a new job in a small town in the mountains. She quickly finds that a string of people have gone missing recently, and there may be a sinister plot afoot.

    High Country released in Australia weekly from March 2024, and it was really well received, which is why it's now making its way to other country around the planet. Thankfully, some of them will let residents watch for free .

    So if you're interested in watching High Country , here's how to do so.

    Can you watch High Country in the US?

    Unfortunately at the time of writing, High Country hasn't made its way to the US.

    While this could change if demand is high enough, there's no indication that it definitely will release in the US. And even if it does, we can only guess at which streaming service or network it'll air on.

    How to watch High Country in the UK

    If you live in the UK, you'll be able to watch High Country in two ways from Saturday, July 13.

    Your first option is using the BBC's streaming service iPlayer as all eight episodes wil be available to watch straight away here. iPlayer is an online platform which you can access via apps on most smart-connected devices, or using your internet browser.

    On TV, the show will air on BBC One; every Saturday, two episodes will be played back to back from 9:10 pm starting on Saturday, July 13.

    Both of these options are free to residents who pay their license fee.

    How to watch High Country in Australia

    All of High Country is already available to watch in Australia, thanks to it broadcasting several months ago.

    Right now, you can watch the show on Binge, the streaming service full of TV box sets.
