Fat Joe will officially get his own interview series titled Fat Joe Talks on Starz.

The 30-minute sit-down show will “give viewers unique access into the lives of today’s most influential personalities who drive the cultural zeitgeist,” according to the network’s announcement on Thursday (Jul 11).

Per Deadline , the Terror Squad boss will travel throughout the country to conduct in-depth conversations with cultural icons.

Fat Joe Talks is an exciting foray into talk, and who better than Joe—a legend in and of himself—to drive provocative conversations that tap into the zeitgeist and matter to our audience,” stated Kathryn Busby, President of Original Programming for Starz. “We are thrilled to be working with Joe and our partners at SpringHill and Embassy Row to launch this incredible show, offering authentic, backstage, rare access to these cultural icons.”

Fat Joe visits SiriusXM Studios on March 28, 2024 in New York City.

LeBron James, Maverick Carter, Philip Byron, and Jamal Henderson will executive produce the series for SpringHill, with Michael Davies executive producing for Embassy Row.

Fat Joe tapped into the media space with his Instagram Live series The Fat Joe Show , where he’s held conversations with Dr. Anthony Fauci, Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Floyd Mayweather, Jamie Foxx, and more.

Last month, the 53-year-old made headlines for sharing his belief that if Chris Brown never had a domestic violence case , he’d be anointed as Michael Jackson’s successor.

“If Chris Brown never got into the controversy with Rihanna, we would be calling him Michael Jackson right now,” he said. “Not like Michael Jackson — Michael Jackson. He is the most talented singer, artist, performer, and hitmaker of our time.”

He went on, “There’s nobody even close to Chris Brown, and it’s time we move past [the domestic violence case]. It’s been 20-something years that I know of — there’s no more incidents. We gon’ let this lifetime go by without saying the truth? What happens is, when the truth is an unpopular decision, everybody gets scared to say it. They get canceled — especially famous people. But you know, the streets — they know what it is. Streets always know, they tell you the truth.”

Surely fans will get more candid content like the latter once Starz announces a release date for Fat Joe Talks.
