Blake Lively Has a Warning for Husband Ryan Reynolds — & Not Following Could Lead to Baby No. 5

Watch out, Ryan Reynolds: you may have another mouth to feed soon! Blake Lively just gave her husband a funny warning about a potential fifth baby-on-the-way (!!) if he isn’t careful, and it’s too darn funny.

Right now, the married couple are on separate press tours — Reynolds to promote his upcoming Deadpool & Wolverine movie, while Lively is promoting her upcoming It Ends With Us film. And at a recent appearance, Reynolds introduced a dog named Peggy called “Mary Puppins” or “Dogpool.” The adorable little pup had wild hair and a tongue that is permanently sticking out of his mouth, which you can see as Reynolds holds her up for the crowd.

In the video, posted on Instagram , Reynolds joked, “She won ugliest dog in Britain, but we’re not telling her that because she is a 10 in our hearts, isn’t she?” Reynolds said, with a kiss on the dog’s head. “And that tongue, by the way, is real. And I have tasted it.”

Well apparently, Lively was just as obsessed with this cute doggo as we are, and the video made her feel hot and heavy for her husband. The Gossip Girl alum shared the video on her Instagram story on Thursday, along with a message. “SOS,” she wrote, with a red alarm sticker. “He’s trying to get me pregnant again.”

Lively, who shares daughters James, 9, Inez, 7, Betty, 4, and a fourth child, whose name and sex have not been revealed, born in Feb. 2023, with Reynolds, continued, “Put the dog that you find adorable in spite of societal k9 expectations away and take off the damn teal suit! In February, the A Simple Favor star opened up about the unique feelings of motherhood in an interview with her The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants co-star Amber Tamblyn on the Further Ado substack . “I know I’m a skin-covered nervous system because that’s the anatomy of a human, but my nervous system feels electrified since having a child,” she said. “I have experienced every single emotion in the human spectrum of emotions and then some. The greatest highs, the greatest fears, the lows, all of it. So what I feel in my body is everything.”

“It makes [acting] so much easier because I feel so authentically now versus imagining and that translates into all of my creativity. When I get scared of something, it’s so much bigger and faster and brighter. When I feel love, it’s brighter,” she continued. “Everything is just probably what cocaine feels like.”

We would not be mad about another Reynolds and Lively baby, but if the IF star doesn’t want to get his wife pregnant, he better put the dog down and wear something less fashionable!
