    St. Clair County K9 retires from service

    ST. CLAIR COUNTY, Mo. — The St. Clair County Sheriff’s Office announced that K9 Kormi will be retiring on Friday, July 12.

    K9 Kormi was imported to the United States from Hungary as a puppy and was trained in Little Rock. Kormi has been in service with the sheriff’s office since 2016, according to a press release.

    Kormi was trained to detect drugs and on numerous drug busts, helped lead to the arrest of people.

    Kormi will continue to live with his handler as a normal dog.
