Olivia Flowers Confirms Southern Charm Exit: ‘Wasn’t My Choice’

It feels like it’s been ages since we’ve gotten to catch up with the good old boys and southern belles of Southern Charm . The last iteration of the series was a messy one. As usual, Austen Kroll was mostly to blame. It feels like we should be gearing up for a return to Charleston soon, but it’s unclear who will be coming back for another season.

It feels like a given that Austen, Craig Conover , and Shep Rose aren’t going anywhere. Bravo should keep Madison LeCroy as happy as possible because she’s the crown jewel of the show. The most recent seasons introduced fans to a few newbies in the crew. However, it doesn’t sound like all of them are going to be returning for the next round of episodes.

Olivia’s sad ending

One person who won’t be coming back for Season 10 is Olivia Flowers . She confirmed the news that was “not [her] choice” on the Scheananigans with Scheana Shay podcast. She added that she was “super bummed” and “thrown off” by the producers’ decision to cut her.

Olivia said that many fans believed she chose to not continue filming the show. “A lot of people think I made the choice, like, I have this new relationship and I’m choosing another path,” Olivia said. However, she received a call a few weeks before filming began that production felt like she wasn’t as connected with Charleston anymore. “We’re noticing on your Instagram you’re in Texas, you’ve got this new boyfriend, and it just seems like you’re choosing a different path,” Olivia claimed the producers told her.

However, she disagreed that she was on a “different path,” and she was actually looking forward to showing a glimpse of her new era of life on the show. “I’m just kinda living my life,” Olivia said. “I wanted to have another season to get to be more me. Last season was very heavy, and I was honestly trying to keep my head above water.” This is sad news for Olivia fans who wanted to see a season where she wasn’t dealing with nonsense from Austen or Taylor Ann Green . It sounds like we’re entering a new era of Southern Charm very soon.
