Kim Kardashian imparted some valuable wisdom to Gypsy Rose Blanchard about dealing with negativity online. Gypsy had a private meeting with the reality star, which was featured on this week's episode of her Hulu show The Kardashians , and the pair talked about how to handle online criticism. And who would know better than Kim?

Gypsy Rose reached out to Kim about working with her on prison reform so Kim flew to Louisiana to meet with her just three weeks after she was released from prison, saying that she had been following Gypsy's case for a long time.

"I wouldn't want to come meet with someone who I felt could make an impact just for the sensation of the case," Kim said. "I recognize that you could make a big difference because you can really articulate what you went through and how you can get through it."

Gypsy gave the SKIMS founder "massive kudos" for meeting her, knowing other people wouldn't agree. "I think a lot of people are really afraid of touching me as a topic because I'm too controversial," Gypsy said.

When it was revealed that Gyspy would appear on The Kardashians this season, there was some backlash from fans who said Kim and her famous family was " desperate " to attach themselves to whoever is popular at the moment. Kim, who is familiar with internet hate, then shared some advice about how to deal with social media now that Gyspy is out of prison. Gyspy said she was struggling with people criticizing her for posting selfies when they expect her to have a "deeper message" in what she shares online.

Kim then shared the four words she lives by online: "Post and then ghost," she explained. "I think the way you live your life moving forward is the deep message…You've been through hell and back."

Gypsy dealt with abuse at the hands of her mother Dee Dee Blanchard . Gypsy then went to prison for her involvement in the killing of her mom. Her then-boyfriend, Nicholas Godejohn, was also convicted in 2016 for orchestrating the murder of Dee Dee, who had been manipulating her daughter into believing she was terminally ill. She was released from prison in December 2023 after serving 85 percent of her sentence.

"Now looking back on it, I'm like, I could have done things a lot differently and it would have ended with my mother being in prison. Did she deserve prison? Yes," Gypsy told Kim.

Gypsy also shared that she wants to help make inmates' lives better after her experience in prison. "I want to be the person that I wish I had to guide me, but I feel very new at it," she shared. Kim offered to help her with a team and then told Gypsy Rose, "I think that you have such an important future to help so many people."
