Glen Powell's Dog Brisket Just Stole the Show on 'Twisters' Red Carpet

There's nothing like a summer blockbuster! Getting your gigantic tub of popcorn, and your gigantic Diet Coke (Sorry, non-DC lovers and Pepsi fans, Diet Coke is the jam) and escaping the heat into a dark movie theater and enjoying an action movie. It's just the best. The only thing that could make it better is being invited to a premiere and getting to see an absolutely adorable dog walking the red carpet, which as what happened when Hollywood heartthrob Glen Powell rolled up to the Twisters premiere.

Just look at Brisket's little bowtie!

The adorable TikTok was shared by the account for @ TheHollywoodreporter and everyone is here for Glen and Brisket! One person said, "Nothing like a cute boy with a cute pup!" Another added, "I suddenly find him super attractive. Dogs make everything better."

That is so true, I mean, just check out the images here of these celebrities with dogs because they are absolute thirst traps .

Powell adopted Brisket from the Labelle Foundation and posted in Brisket's introduction snap , "It’s a ruff world out there, so I thought it was about time I hire a proper bodyguard…Meet BRISKET - 1.5 pounds of raw power.Thank you to @thelabellefoundation for all the incredible work you do to advocate for dogs and for making me a dad.I can’t wait to tackle all the adventures of life with this guy!"

Brisket is said to have a role in the movie and to me that's worth the price of admission alone.

People magazine reports, "A standalone sequel to the 1996 film Twister — which starred Helen Hunt and Bill Paxton — the 2024 installment follows social media influencer Tyler Owens (Powell), the Internet's "Tornado Wrangler," as he convinces his friend Kate Cooper (Edgar-Jones) to chase storms with him.

In a 2023 interview with Vogue , Powell clarified that Twisters isn't trying to remake the original. Rather, "it's a completely original story."

Twisters is currently at 82% at Rotten Tomatoes but none of the early reviews mention how much Brisket is in the movie!

Beth Webb, from Empire Magazine, is quoted above as saying, "Simply put, Twisters wears its Big Summer Movie heart on its sleeve. The score is rousing and righteous, the star power at times overwhelming to look at directly (to clarify, Powell walking through a downpour in a white T-shirt serves absolutely no narrative purpose)." And that sounds like a pretty solid review, but I still need to know how long Brisket is on screen! I guess I will have to wait to find out when Twisters hits the big screen next week on July 19!
