    Investigators searching for driver in Brown County pedestrian hit-and-run crash

    BROWN COUNTY, Texas ( KTAB/KRBC ) – Investigators in Brown County are searching for a driver accused of hitting a pedestrian then fleeing the scene.

    The crash happened at mile marker 578 of Highway 67 just east of Bangs around 12:45 a.m. June 28.

    A press release from the Brown county Sheriff’s Office states a 19-year-old was walking west down the highway when he was struck by a motorist who did not stop to provide information or render aid.

    The teen was hospitalized with serious injuries.

    No description of the suspect or vehicle has been provided.

    Investigators are asking anyone with information to contact Trooper Rachael King with Brownwood Highway Patrol at (325)646-6867.
