NORTH DAKOTA ( KXNET ) — There are just under 2,000 deer licenses still available in four units for the upcoming deer gun season.
According to the North Dakota Game & Fish Department, those licenses will be issued on a first-come, first-served basis starting at 8 a.m. on July 24.
If you are a resident (or nonresident) who did not get a lottery or landowner license, you are eligible to apply online .
If you want to buy additional licenses, you can do that starting at 8 a.m. on August 14.
By then, any leftover licenses will be issued as concurrent season licenses, which can be used during the archery season with a bow; deer gun season with a bow, rifle, or muzzleloader; or during the muzzleloader season with a muzzleloader.
USPS holds Career Fairs in six cities Kids under the age of 14 at the end of the calendar year will be issued a concurrent season license for archery only.
There is no limit to the number of concurrent season licenses for hunters.
If you have a concurrent season license, you are restricted to the type of antlerless deer printed on the license and you must stay in the unit that’s assigned.
There are 48 tags for any antlerless in unit 3A2.
There are 297 tags for antlerless whitetail in unit 3F1.
There are 758 tags for any antlerless in unit 3F2, as well as 769 tags for antlerless whitetail.
There are 38 tags for antlerless whitetail in unit 4F.
