    Flood warning NJ: Parts of Ocean County included in NWS alert

    Grab an umbrella, you're going to need it.

    The National Weather Service has issued a flood warning all over New Jersey, inclduding Ocean County.

    The NWS reported the flood warning for Atlantic, Burlington, Cape May, Cumberland and Ocean counties until 6:15 p.m.

    Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams and other low-lying and flood-prone areas is expected. Some areas could see as much as 4 inches of rain in a short period of time, depending on where the fronts settle. Most areas included in the warning could see between 1 to 3 inches, according to the National Weather Service.

    Locations expected to see flooding include Toms River, Lakewood, Barnegat, as well as Atlantic City, Ocean City, Pleasantville, Beachwood, Somers Point, Ventnor City, Brigantine and Northfield, according to the NWS.

    Thunderstorms are not only in store for us this evening, they're also expected tomorrow. Most areas could see scattered storms throughout the day tomorrow before things settle down Sunday.
