    Miles of backups on I-64 West in Henrico due to crash

    UPDATE: The scene is clear.

    HENRICO COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) — Drivers are experiencing miles of backups in Interstate 64 West in Henrico County due to a vehicle crash Friday afternoon.

    According to the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT), the crash took place on I-64 westbound near Hospital Street on the afternoon of Friday, July 12.

    At one point, multiple westbound lanes were closed, according to the department. As of 4:02 p.m., no lanes are closed but there are about four miles of backups.
