    Adna Grange to host Missouri-based bluegrass band

    The Baker Family, a four-piece bluegrass band from Missouri, will perform at Adna Grange No. 417 on Tuesday, July 16.

    The Baker Family is composed of mother, Carrie Baker, playing bass, and her three adult children: her sons, Trustin (fiddle and banjo) and Elijah (guitar and bass), and daughter, Carina, (mandolin and fiddle).

    All three of Carrie Baker’s sons and daughter have won numerous championships in various states throughout the Midwest and South for their instrument playing. The Baker Family is known for bluegrass, gospel and classic country music.

    They appeared on RFD-TV’s “Bluegrass Trail”, season 12 of “America’s Got Talent” and on PBS “Great American Bluegrass.”

    The grange will open its doors at 6 p.m. for a potluck dinner. Attendees are encouraged to bring a dish. The grange will provide beverages. There will also be a raffle.

    The concert will begin at 7 p.m. Tickets can be bought at the door with cash for $15 per person. Children 12 and under can enter for free.
