If you've ever been to a Cracker Barrel, you'll have noticed all the old-time photos posted up along the walls and dividers. For a Golden Retriever named Teddy and his Dad Jonathan Lower, it became a goal to have their photo join the rest—even if Dad had to put it there himself.
The hilarious TikTok video shared on July 12, 2024 by @aguyandhisgolden shows the process Lower went through to get their picture in a local Cracker Barrel. Watch the shenanigans and get ready to LOL!
The video captioned, "We snuck a picture onto the wall at Cracker Barrel!" begins with Lowell, dressed in overalls and a straw hat, and his Golden in a matching hat, as they pose in front of a hay bale. Lowell holds a pitchfork to make things look believable while Teddy has nothing but his adorable self striking a pose.
Once the photos are taken, Lowell chooses the best ones, changes the filter so it matches that "older" look, and gets the film developed at a local CVS. Framed with the hanger already attached to the frame, the Golden Retriever's Dad cruises into the local Cracker Barrel, picture in hand. When the coast is clear, he quickly hangs it on the divider next to his table, then returns to his seat as if nothing happened at all. The final shot is the photo perfectly situated in the restaurant for all to enjoy.
Plenty of Teddy's fans were thrilled to see this with many wondering if the photo will stay up.
"Omgosh, Teddy in the hat is priceless," one person wrote. "Teddy is such a good boy!" another said. "Now THAT is amazing!! Hopefully they keep it up forever!" another added.
This is one seriously funny joke that will surely bring smiles to all Cracker Barrel patrons who sit near the priceless photo!

Where Do Cracker Barrel's Photos Come From?
While we hope Teddy and his Dad's picture stays up at that Cracker Barrel location forever, the history of the store suggests the many antiques sitting around the building and hung onto walls come from a decor warehouse . And, the items are handpicked, specific to that store's area, making each that much more special than the next.
For 40 years, the warehouse in Lebanon, TN has collected 700,000 unique pieces from collectors and dealers that they've placed throughout all the stores, with 100,000 of those antiques in the warehouse itself. Each store averages around 950-1,000 authentic pieces per location, which is truly amazing.
Maybe Teddy the Golden's contribution will stay or maybe it won't, but either way, this is a genius prank with Dad that we love to see.
