Walmart Is Selling 'Perfect' $15 Mary Jane Flats So Similar to a Dolce Vita Style 8x the Price

Flats are truly having a moment right now. Whether they’re ballet flats or Mary Jane flats, this style is making a comeback as the simple yet classic shoe of 2024. A great option for the office or even a nice casual dinner, they’re versatile and usually don’t give you the headache that heels can. Walmart has some new Mary Jane flats that fit right into this trend, plus they look like a Dolce Vita style that’s eight times the price.

Walmart’s Time and Tru Women's Mary Jane Flats are an inexpensive treasure, costing only $14.98 and coming in five colors (black, gold, red, silver and snake). Each color either has a matte faux leather look or a glossy faux patent leather look. The design is, again, pretty straightforward; it has a classic Mary Jane silhouette with a slight square toe and a thin strap across the top of the foot near the ankles. It has a memory foam insole for added comfort and the simple buckle adds to the classic feel of these Mary Janes.

Again, these are made with a faux leather upper part and a rubbery outer sole. Between the on-trend design and the memory foam insole, it’s not a surprise that people already love these shoes. One person wrote that they’re “perfect shoes” while another said they’re “comfort with style.”

Yet another shopper wrote that these Mary Janes are “amazing,” fit true to size, are comfortable, “quality made” and a “great value.”

“Can't wait to get them in all colors!” they wrote, calling them "cute."

Reyes Ballet Flats , $120 at Dolce Vita

As we mentioned before, these Mary Jane flats aren’t just cute and affordable, they also look a lot like a designer brand that is several times the price. Dolce Vita’s Reyes Ballet Flats are so similar to Walmart’s Mary Jane flats, from their design to the color. Currently $120, the Dolce Vita ballet flats are made with real leather. The black ones are of course the pair that resemble Walmart’s Time and Tru flats the most; they have a similar silhouette but a thinner strap and a bit boxier toe. But for the most part, they’re pretty comparable.
