Aliyah ‘s last match with WWE wound up being her favorite.

WWE released Aliyah in a wave of cuts in September 2023, and she has not wrestled since.

Speaking on the Johnny I Pro Show Aliyah reflected on her final match with WWE, in which she and Raquel Rodriguez lost the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships to Damage CTRL’s Dakota Kai and IYO SKY. Alihah has since said she wrestled with an elevated rib and sprained AC joint. (H/t Andrew Thompson of POST Wrestling for the transcription),

“Oh my goodness. It was my favorite, favorite, favorite, favorite, favorite, favorite, favorite, favorite thing I got to do there. Organically, the crowd loved us,” said Aliyah. “When we went out there, it was just magic. I just came out there and I was just having a ball with my muscle. She was the muscle, I was the little pipsqueak and together, we were just the vibes and the ones that know, know. The ones that get it, get it and the ones that don’t, guess what? You never f*cking will so buh-bye.”

Aliyah also revealed that she had a bit of disassociation during her last match, and she didn’t realize the level of emotion she was wrestling with until after she had watched it back.

“The level of dissociation, I was blown away,” Aliyah said. “I was like, woah! We’ve done it. We’ve done it with this one. I was pushing through and you could really see the emotions and everything and I’m really proud of that match.”

There is no word on whether Aliyah will return to the ring. WrestleZone will provide more information as it becomes available.
