Due to their blended families, Emme and Max spend a lot of time with Violet, Seraphina, and Samuel. A source recently told DailyMail.com that the kids want Lopez and Affleck to work out their marriage.

“The kids think Jennifer and Ben are really, deeply in love, like soul mates, and they don’t want them to divorce,” the source alleged. “They want them to work it out for better or for worse, like their vows said. And they do feel that the two should continue counseling and talking it out, even if it is painful.”

The source added that all five kids want Affleck and Lopez to “get back together” before Lopez turns 55 on July 24, 2024. “There is hope they could all celebrate together for a mellow family party in Los Angeles,” the source continued.

The insider added that the kids know Affleck can be “grumpy” and “prickly,” and they want him to “lighten up” for the good of his marriage. As for Lopez, she needs to take a step back and relax.

“The kids get along great, especially Emme and Fin; they are best friends and talk every day,” the source continued. “They tell Ben and Jenny, ‘Hey, don’t give up; don’t lose this.'”

A source told Us Weekly in November 2022 that Lopez and Garner got to know each other after Lopez and Affleck tied the knot. “Now that Jen and Jen have been co-parenting, they’ve been getting to know each other better and have formed a very new friendship,” the insider said, adding that Garner “can’t believe how sweet” Lopez is to her children.

The source added that the two moms “really enjoy each other.”
