A little backstory for the uninitiated to these two characters: The Leader (alias known as Samuel Sterns) is the arch enemy to Marvel’s The Hulk , and in the same vein as his nemesis Bruce Banner, he was exposed to Gamma Rays that granted him a genius-level intellect (instead of the car-throwing strength The Hulk is known for) transforming him into The Leader. On the contrary, Patriot (alias known as Eli Bradley) is the grandson of one of the first super soldiers made and even wielded the shield of Captain America while bringing justice to the Marvel Universe.

Patriot arrives in Marvel Contest of Champions on July 18, and The Leader on August 1, and a deep dive into both champions can be found on the official Marvel YouTube channel .
