    Los Angeles County authorities investigating after ‘physical fight’ leaves man dead

    A “physical fight” between two groups of people left a man dead in Los Angeles County Friday evening, authorities said.

    A media release from the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department indicates deputies responded to the 5800 block of Loveland Street in Bell Gardens around 7:45 p.m. on reports of a fight at the location.

    When they got on scene, deputies located an unconscious man, LASD said.  He was immediately transported to a nearby hospital where he was pronounced dead.

    “Investigators learned there was a physical fight between two groups of individuals when the male was discovered unconscious on the ground,” the sheriff’s department confirmed.

    His exact cause of death has yet to be determined by the Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner.

    No identifying information regarding the deceased man was released.
