LeBron James didn't look like the oldest player on Team USA when the Americans defeated Team Canada in their exhibition game in Las Vegas last Wednesday night.

Although Anthony Edwards led Team USA with 13 points, the soon-to-be 40-year-old James also shone in an all-around effort. King James even took off like a 20-year-old on an alley-oop pass from Steph Curry that's now become viral.

It was probably after that play when Hall of Famer and 2008 NBA champion Kevin Garnett tweeted that LeBron could still play in the NBA for a decade if he changed his game.

"Lord! Bron could play 10 more years in a Draymond role." wrote KG.

    LeBron posted a triple-single

It's unclear what KG meant by playing a 'Draymond role'. But if you look at LeBron's stats in that game: 7 points,5 rebounds, and 3 assists, they resemble a typical stat line produced by the Golden State Warriors forward hilariously known as Mr. Triple Single.

As for Bron, he looked far better than Mr Triple Single the last time we saw him. King James averaged 25.7 points, 7.3 rebounds, 8.3 assists, and 1.3 steals per game for the Lakers during the 2023-24 season. At the age of 39, he still made it to the All-NBA third team. He also played 71 regular season games this past campaign, his most since 2017-18 when he was still with the Cavs.

Having said all that, it's hard to see LeBron's performance fall off the cliff next season. And barring any unfortunate injury, he's expected to have another incredible year. If he paces himself and plays like his pal Draymond , surely he can outlive his newly-signed two-year deal with the Lakers. But can he really play for 10 more years?
