Rescued animals always find ways to show their gratitude for the family that took them in. Although they cannot express their appreciation in words, they show us through their actions. Regardless of the species, they even form unbreakable bonds and become the siblings of other household animals.

The sweet relationship between this gentle dog and a loving fawn will touch your heart. Watch their precious connection in this video from July 9th.

These two look like they’re performing a scene from a Disney movie ! You could almost picture them in a quiet forest, with dappled sunlight peeking through the trees. Although this may be taking place on the back deck, it’s the same scenario. This sweet, rescued fawn seems to have fallen for her canine sibling as she gently grooms her ears. Her affections were well received, as this happy dog’s eyes seemed to express that she had been transported to a new level of relaxation. Even though these two rescues have come from very different worlds, they have learned to live happily in this one together on this beautiful farm with their mom, Sarah (@ sransom126 ). What a great life!

Can Deer Be Kept as Pets?

It depends on the state. While some state regulations strictly prohibit keeping deer as pets , others may allow some domestication, depending on the type. In other cases, a wildlife rehabilitation license or other permits may be needed. Although it’s always best for an animal to remain in its natural habitat, there are times when these young babies would have no chance of survival. This little fawn is still so young that she’s being bottle-fed. As she gets older, her diet will consist of grasses, plants, berries, and nuts. But until then, she requires an amount of care not everyone can give. Thankfully, there are people (and dogs) willing to welcome them into the family, provide them with their specific needs, and make them part of the pack.

This bond shared between this loving duo touched people. Viewer @PrincessDi responded, “ Fox and the Hound , move over. It’s fawn and rover now!” It’s a movie I would certainly watch, as long as it didn’t involve anything sad. Viewer @KevinS remarked, “Omg. Animals! We just don’t deserve them. They are so much better than most people!” There’s much we can learn from watching them. Viewer @DimityJadeCox reported, “This is the best video I have ever seen in my whole life!” It’s also one of my favorites.

Just watching the love between these two has made my entire day brighter. It’s a happy reminder that good people who have open hearts still exist in the world.
