Jana Kramer and Allan Russell are married! The couple wed during an intimate ceremony at Scotland Estate

Jana Kramer and former soccer player, Allan Russell, tied the knot during an intimate wedding ceremony in his native country, Scotland, on Saturday.

The couple exchanged vows in front of 35 wedding guests at Carnell Estate, according to People .

'We had talked about just going away and doing it ourselves, but it was important for me to have the wedding for Jolie and Jace, so they can see that we’re married now,' she told the outlet of their decision to have a traditional celebration.

She continued: 'I've also never been so excited to walk down the aisle to someone, and it didn't need to be this big thing. It's going to be very small and intimate and everything that we wanted.'

Ahead of their nuptials, the podcast host gushed to the publication that she wanted to get married surrounded by just her closest friends and family.

'That's all that truly matters to us and our family,' she emphasized.

Russell agreed, and also noted that Kramer is 'really respectful towards' of his 'heritage in Scotland.'

The One Tree Hill alum, 40, shares her two oldest children with ex-husband Mike Caussin as well as an eight-month-old, named Roman, with Russell.

According to People, their wedding 'featured numerous nods to Russell’s Scottish heritage, including bagpipes, kilts, haggis pie, ceilidh (traditional Scottish music) and customary Highland Games.'

As for how they chose Carnell Estate, she said they 'really wanted' somewhere 'everyone was together in one place.'

'We were running out of options and everyone kept asking, "What are you doing?" And everything was expensive, so I just went on Airbnb. I Airbnb'd the weekend we wanted and found the stunning Carnell Estate,' she said.

Kramer's strapless wedding gown, which featured a sweetheart style neckline and 'beautiful' train, was designed by Pronovias.

'I wanted to love the dress, but I also wanted Allan to like the dress, too, as I walked down the aisle, so it was kind of a marrying of both the things that we love. It's got some beautiful lace on it. I have a beautiful veil. It's perfect,' the mom-of-three raved.

Her eldest Jolie served as a flower girl while her son Jace was the ring bearer. Meanwhile Russell's son Troy had a role as an usher.

Like all the men present, the couple's baby boy, Roman, wore a kilt.

'They start the kilts at one year old. Now, Roman is not one year old yet, but he's the size of a one-year-old. He eats like a five-year-old, so he's fine,' Russell said.

The newlyweds also noted that they 'wrote their own vows for the ceremony.'

They plan on spending their week-long honeymoon in Italy.

Their kids will return to the states with Kramer’s parents.

'We're doing three nights in Ravello, which is just south of Positano, and then we're three days on the island of Capri, so it'll be beautiful,' she told People.

Kramer and Russell met after he sent her a private message on Instagram while he was living in England, at the time.

'He was very sweet and very kind in his message, and we started to talk on WhatsApp. And then when I Googled him, I was like, "Oh, he's really cute. I was like, maybe if he happens to ever be in the States, I'll go out on a date with him."'

After finally meeting up in Nashville in 2022, around Christmastime, she said it was 'game over' and they got engaged just six months later.

And, by June 2023, the lovebirds revealed they were expecting their first child together.

Last November, she confirmed the birth of Roman on Instagram by sharing a photo of herself with him from the hospital.

Later, she told People: 'Allan and I are both overjoyed and truly grateful to announce the birth of our son, Roman James Russell.'

'We feel blessed to have been given the chance to create something so special together.'

They then revealed the reason why they decided to name their firstborn Roman.

'The name Roman really isn't inspired by anyone, it's just a strong name that we both love, but James (his middle name) was both of our Grandpa's names, so that was a nod to them,' they told the outlet.

She was previously married to Caussin  2015 until their split in 2021 after years of infidelity on the latter's part.

Allan is dad to son Troy 16, and former step-daughter Claudia, who he co-parents with his former partner.

Jane previously said that her kids are 'super excited' about having a new sibling.

After six months of dating, she revealed in May that Allan had asked her to marry him.

'I've got an announcement today. So Allan and I have been dating for...six and a half months. And he asked me to marry him,' she gushed on her podcast.

She detailed the moment he popped the question, explaining they had just returned from a walk in their new neighborhood with her kids.

'It was a really beautiful night. We were all sitting on the porch of the steps and looking out at the view, it's stunning,' she recounted.

'And he said my name and I got up or whatever and he got down on one knee and then Jolie just started jumping up and down, it was the cutest thing ever, it was like she knew what was happening.'
