    Ridge Fire burns in southern Catron County

    CATRON COUNTY, N.M. (KRQE) — A fire that started on July 4, 2024, has burned over 2,000 acres, NM Fire Info reported.

    The Ridge Fire is by the Iron Creek Mesa and Gilita Ridge in Catron County.

    • Location : 19 miles east of Glenwood
    • Fire Size : 2,966 acres
