Aldi Is Selling a $19.99 Rolling Duffle Bag That's So Similar to an L.L. Bean Style Nearly 7x the Price

There are so many different kinds of luggage and travel bags out there, it can be tough to choose the right one for you. And while a good, sturdy carry-on is lovely, sometimes you just need a duffle bag to get you to wherever you’re traveling—they don’t have as sturdy of an outer case compared to hardshell suitcases, but they have enough room and can squish into the trunks of cars a lot easier. The only downside might be that you have to either carry it on your shoulder or in your hand, but that’s where rolling duffles come in handy. Aldi’s upcoming Aldi Finds selections include such a product and it’s so similar to an L.L. Bean style almost seven times the price.

From July 17 through July 23, Aldi is selling the Crane Rolling Duffle for the nice price of $19.99. This is a pretty standard duffle bag: it has two carrying handles, a large zippered pocket in the center and a rectangular shape that’s longer horizontally. It’s also a pretty decent size, measuring 27.36 inches by 11.61 inches by 12.99 inches. Since it is a rolling duffle, it has “inline skate wheels” and a retractable handle to roll it.

Crane Rolling Duffle , $19.99 at Aldi

The Crane Rolling Duffle doesn’t just have a main compartment—though Aldi does call it “spacious” with a two-way zipper—but it also has a zippered exterior pocket. It also comes in four fun colors and patterns:

• Blue and white checkered
• Blue with white straps
• All black
• One that’s called “print” which has light blue, orange and peach shapes on a white background with a blue zipper and light orange straps.

Adventure Rolling Duffle Bag, Medium, 40L, $139 at L.L. Bean

As we mentioned above, this Aldi rolling duffle looks a lot like L.L. Bean’s Adventure Rolling Duffle Bag . The medium and 40 liter version costs $139 and is almost the same size as Aldi’s: 9 inches tall, 22 inches wide and 12 inches deep. In fact, this bag is slightly smaller; it falls within the carry-on regulated size whereas Aldi’s bag is slightly too big to be a carry-on item. It seems like it has the same amount of pockets as Aldi’s duffle too: one large main compartment and an outside zippered pocket. The wheels are similar (they are basic wheels that don’t swivel) and it has a retractable handle to roll it. L.L. Bean’s bag come in several colors—all with the L.L. Bean logo on them—and you can monogram it for $8.

So if you’re looking for a duffle bag that is nearly identical to the likes of L.L Bean’s, Aldi’s Crane Rolling Duffle is worth checking out this coming week.
