‘Shooter’s Down! Shooter’s Down!’ Hot Mic Captures Officers Seconds After Shots Fired at Trump Rally

As shots rang out at Donald Trump’s rally on Saturday, the former president grabbed at his ear and quickly went down to the stage as Secret Service agents dove over and protected him, in a moment captured on thousands of cameras and live streams.

On the Live Now from Fox YouTube channel’s live stream, the microphones either at the podium or on Trump’s person picked up the voices of the agents protecting him.

Among the things they could be heard saying was very clearly multiple voices, presumably both Secret Service and law enforcement, saying “shooter’s down.”

“Shooter’s down. Are we good?” could be heard, as well as “Shooter’s down! We’re clear”

Some reports now indicate that a shooter was identified and taken into custody at the scene, though the situation is active and chaotic.

The Associated Press reported that Trump was grazed by a bullet, while one rallygoer and the shooter was killed.
