    Flash Flood Warning issued for southeastern San Diego County

    SAN DIEGO (FOX 5/KUSI) — The National Weather Service issued a flash flood warning Saturday afternoon for southeastern San Diego County.

    The warning was issued at 4:10 p.m. for the following areas as thunderstorms are expected to bring heavy rain:

    • Boulevard
    • Jacumba
    • Interstate 8 between Boulevard and Imperial County Line
    • Interstate 8 between Pine Valley and Boulevard

    The warning is in effect until 6:45 p.m.

    Residents in impacted areas are advised to move to higher ground and avoid walking or driving through floodwaters.
