    Louisiana leaders react after Donald Trump helped off stage following shooting at rally

    BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) — Louisiana leaders are reacting after Former President Donald Trump was whisked off the stage at a rally in Butler, Pennsylvania after apparent gunshots rang through the crowd.

    According to the Associated Press, Trump was showing off a chart of border crossings during his last rally before the Republican National Convention begins on Monday when bangs started ringing through the crowd.

    The Republican presidential candidate could be seen extending his right hand toward his face. According to the Associated Press, there appeared to be blood on his face.
