    Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office to offer extra patrols following shooting at Trump rally

    LOUDOUN COUNTY, Va. ( DC News Now ) — The Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office (LCSO) said it is offering to patrol community members’ homes in light of a shooting that broke out at former President Donald Trump’s rally in Pennsylvania on Saturday.

    In a statement posted on X, LCSO Sheriff Michael Chapman wrote :

    “We are horrified by the attempt on former President Trump’s life today and are deeply saddened that an attendee at the rally was killed and another is in critical condition. We are also grateful for the quick actions of the US Secret Service and other law enforcement personnel. Former President Trump and all of those impacted by this senseless act of violence are in our prayers.”
