    2 dead, 1 hurt in crash in Prince George’s County

    PRINCE GEORGE’S COUNTY, Md. ( DC News Now ) — The Prince George’s County Fire Department (PGFD) said a serious crash happened on the Outer Loop on Saturday night.

    The Maryland State Highway Administration (MDSHA) said in a post made just after 8:30 p.m. that the crash was on MD-5 near Branch Avenue.

    A PGFD spokesperson said the crash killed two people and injured another.

    All lanes in the area were closed as crews worked to clear the scene. MDSHA advised drivers to use an alternative route.
