MIDDLETOWN, Pa. (WHTM) — If you received a text from “Pennsylvania Turnpike Toll Services,” it is a scam, the Turnpike Commission (PTC) said Sunday.

The texts center around urgent requests with the account that would result in additional charges if the overdue balance isn’t settled, PTC said.
