Indiana’s official delegation to the Republican National Convention in Milwaukee includes several of the state’s top elected officials and members of Congress who have historically been enthusiastic supporters of former President Donald Trump .

U.S. Sen. Mike Braun, who is running for governor in November , is expected to serve as the chairman of Indiana’s delegation and speak on its behalf in roll-call votes on the convention floor.

Congressman Jim Banks , who is running for U.S. Senate, and state Attorney General Todd Rokita , who is seeking reelection, are also in Indiana’s official delegation.

U.S. Sen. Todd Young, who has said he would not support Trump’s 2024 campaign , is not attending the convention and will be out of the country on “official travel,” according to his Senate office. Lame-duck Gov. Eric Holcomb, who had endorsed former Vice President Mike Pence’s 2024 presidential campaign, is also not planning to attend the RNC due to “instate duties" but plans to watch the convention on television, according to a spokesperson from his office.
