    Much loved Irish driving route named 'Europe's most scenic' by travel experts

    A beloved driving route in County Galway has been crowned the most scenic drive in Europe by travel experts , according to a report from Galway Live. The breathtaking Inagh Valley road , part of the Wild Atlantic Way in Connemara, outshone numerous competitors across Scotland, Italy, England, Romania, Germany, and France.

    According to the travel buffs, the splendid natural beauty along the R344 road was truly unmatched.

    This 16-mile long road journey meanders besides Lough Inagh, providing magnificent views that just beg you to stop for a picnic or to snap some photographs .

    The panel at StressFreeCarRental.com were bowled over by the rich beauty of the Co Galway region, charmed by the "heather-covered mountains and valleys, and majestic lakes."

    They praised the route for capturing the beauty of Ireland in its full Autumnal resplendence.

    In their effusive praise, the experts remarked on how the rugged landscape complimented with the lakes and mountains adds stunning charm to the scenery and brings hordes of tourists to Connemara each year.     Pine Island, an iconic Irish landmark nestled in Derryclare Lough near Clifden (considered the capital city of Connemara), also received a special mention. The travel aficionados described this tree festooned island as a "picture-perfect island of pine trees."

    Inagh Valley has been ranked higher than other "stunning," routes like France's Col de la Machine and Italy's Chiantigiana, which links Florence to Siena.
