Millions of tourists flock to the renowned Cliffs of Moher on Ireland's west coast, yet many are unaware of another breathtaking coastal spot nearby that is far less crowded . The Cliffs of Moher, located in Co Clare, are one of Ireland's most visited tourist attractions.

The dramatic cliffs serve as a stunning backdrop for countless tourist photos and have recently been featured in films such as Lindsay Lohan's latest Netflix rom-com, Irish Wish. However, Co Clare has much more to offer.

In addition to charming towns like Doolin and unique attractions like the Aliwee Cave, Co Clare is home to the Kilkee Cliffs. These impressive cliffs rise to a height of 70 feet.

While they may not be as tall as the Cliffs of Moher, they are equally breathtaking.

To fully appreciate the views of this place, there is the five-kilometer Kilkee Loop Walk. It offers views of the shipwreck site at Intrinsic Bay, Foonagh Bay, and Moveen Hill.

Located on the Loop Head Peninsula, the Kilkee Cliffs provide some of the most spectacular views along the Wild Atlantic Way. The Kilkee Cliffs are situated in the southern part of Co Clare, near the border of Co Kerry .

To reach here from the Cliffs of Moher, it's just over an hour's drive. The cliffs are also just a few kilometers away from the town of Kilkee.

The Kilkee Cliffs in County Clare have been receiving rave reviews from visitors, with many favouring them over the more famous Cliffs of Moher. One impressed traveller shared on Tripadvisor: "I enjoyed the views more than the Cliffs of Moher. These were definitely less touristy."

Another visitor recommended: "Don't miss this. Local told us about it. Can see cliffs very similar to Moher. We thought this was better. Not as touristy and FREE. Go to parking at end of Kilkee and take this good long walk up the cliffs. You won't regret it."

A third reviewer expressed their love for the spot: "Loved it here, as much as the Cliffs of Moher, if not more. It is the visibility and proximity that delivers here more than at Moher, and the action of the waves and colours of the water. And sooooooo much quieter in terms of people."

Echoing the sentiment, a fourth added: "Forget the Cliffs of Moher and the crowds- you need to do the Kilkee Cliff walk. Stunning views of the cliffs and the crashing ocean waves. We discovered Kilkee and the cliffs last year on holiday and were so awed by them that we took family there this year."
