Joel Embiid Causes Commotion At Team USA Practice After LeBron James' Bricked Shot

LeBron James and the rest of Team USA are in the thick of their preparation for the looming 2024 Paris Olympics. Everyone is clearly focused on the common goal of winning the gold but that doesn't mean they're not having fun, either.

Take, for example, a clip uploaded by USA Basketball on X (formerly Twitter), showing the Los Angeles Lakers star and Philadelphia 76ers big man Joel Embiid trying to make left-handed buckets.

The video showed James trying one first, badly bricking his attempt. The four-time league Most Valuable Player then launched the ball to the other basket out of frustration. Enter Embiid, who sank a lefty basket off the board after a few warm-up shots, causing several players to go wild on the floor.

Talent is never going to be a problem for the Americans in the Olympics. Still, chemistry is something they definitely can keep improving ahead of their trip to the City of Light.

Team USA will have four more tune-up games before the Olympics. A game against Australia is scheduled for Monday, while clashes against Serbia and South Sudan are on tap for Wednesday and Saturday. The final exhibition game will be against Germany July 22.
