Sofia Vergara just celebrated her 52nd birthday, and she did it in style! Defying age as always, the mother of one rocked the trending yellow color for both her dress and her birthday cake.

The AGT judge dazzled in a figure-hugging yellow strapless dress with a ruched bodice and a sweetheart neckline. She accessorized with a gold necklace and bangles, letting her brunette locks cascade down in the center. With her signature dark eyebrows, a mauve lip, and smokey eyeshadow, Sofia looked absolutely stunning.

For PEOPLE magazine’s Beautiful Issue back in May, the Griselda star opened up about aging and beauty and revealed that when it comes to getting older, she’s determined to “fight it every step of the way!” She’s clearly been fighting it good!

The Modern Family icon continued to add, “For me, beauty has always been very important. I think because I’m Latin, we always grow up thinking about looking good, doing your hair, your makeup. It’s something that makes you feel good. I love beauty products. I love makeup, I love clothes. And I think now that I’m older, it’s great, because you know exactly what you like, what looks good on you, what doesn’t look good on you.” She expressed, “I don’t do what is in fashion. I just do what feels good, makes me feel confident and beautiful.”
