Southeast Wisconsin Weather: Storms tonight, another round Monday

The main window for storms will be 6 pm to 11 pm. Some of these storms may be severe; initially, storms pose a hail threat, with a continued threat of strong winds and very heavy rain, which could result in flooding. Stay weather-aware tonight.

Monday will be another hot and humid day with highs near 90-degrees and heat index values of 95-100°. Take precautions to stay cool. Early in the day we will see some sunshine. By late afternoon and evening, yet another round of storms may move through. Some of the models have been taking these storms just to our south. Storms will have to be monitored closely as severe weather is likely where they track, with potential for very strong winds, heavy rainfall, and an isolated tornado or two.

A few showers or storms may linger into Tuesday. Temperatures will start to cool off with temps in the 80s and slightly lower humidity.

Much cooler and drier weather is expected for the remainder of the week.
