    Temperatures Hit 122 Degrees In World’s Hottest City

    According to data from Kuwait’s International Airport, the temperature reached 122 degrees. The airport is located just south of Kuwait City and off Kuwait Bay.

    Kuwait is usually very hot this time of year. The record temperature for the nation was set on July 21, 2016, at 129 degrees. This is the highest temperature in the history of Asia. Based on some records, it is the second-highest temperature recorded in human history.

    Temperatures over 110 degrees are not unusual in Kuwait, are not unusual. In Kuwait, the high is usually over 100 in June, July, and August.

    People Stay Indoors

    During these extremely hot periods, the streets are deserted. Almost everyone stays indoors, and many people leave the country completely.

    “We can put up with it because the house, the car, everything is air-conditioned,” said pensioner Abou Mohammad, dressed in a white robe and keffiyeh and sitting in a comfortably cooled cafe, according to France24.
