Last chance to visit Springfield’s Comic Con at the MassMutual Center

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) – Comic Con returns to Springfield this weekend, bringing special guests, vendors, artists, cosplayers, and more to the MassMutual Center.

This annual celebration of superheroes, gaming, and culture began on Saturday and continues on Sunday with special guest panels and more comic fun. Saturday brought Q and A sessions featuring John Dak Morton, Duncan Rouleau, the cast of the X-men animated series, and several comic book creators.

The convention runs from 11 AM to 4 PM and includes the much-anticipated kid’s cosplay contest. Kids can enter for a chance to win $200 in combined cash and prizes. Judging will be held from 2 PM to 3 PM and the winners will be announced following a dance-off at 3:45 PM.

It’s not too late to join in on the action, as tickets are still available. Sunday-only, adult passes cost $15 and kids passes are free for all children under 10 with an adult pass being purchased. Parking options are available with the Springfield Parking Authority along with MGM Springfield.
