The brave star posted a video of the latest episode of her podcast, Let's Be Clear, in which she speaks about having more chemotherapy treatement, as she continued her years long battle with breast cancer. Shannen captioned the post: "New episode of @letsbeclearpod on @iheartradio or anywhere you listen to podcast. This is what I am currently facing. #cancer #life ".
Speaking in the clip from the podcast, Shannen spoke to her 2.2 million followers on Instagram about the uncertainty of her future.

She admitted: "So, you know, for the first time in I have no idea how long, I'm going to be on chemo for I have no idea if it's going to be, you know, three months or if its going to be six months or if we are going, you know, if after three months if it's not working if we're going to change again."
The actress continued to say that this new round of treatment was "scary". She said: "Like, I don't really, that's not something that I can predict. It's not something my doctors can predict and it's scary. It's like a big wake up call at the same time I got to say that there is some positivity there and the positivity is that because my molecular structure of my cancer cells changed recently."
"It means that there's a lot more protocols for me to try. So, you know, for the first time in a couple months probably I feel hopeful because there are so many more protocols now. Whereas before I was hopeful but I was still getting prepared."
After living with cancer for many years, Shannen's death was confirmed today by her publicist. The statement reads: "It is with a heavy heart that I confirm the passing of actress Shannen Doherty. On Saturday, July 13, she lost her battle with cancer after many years of fighting the disease. The devoted daughter, sister, aunt and friend was surrounded by her loved ones as well as her dog, Bowie. The family asks for their privacy at this time so they can grieve in peace."
Shannen was first diagnosed with cancer in 2015. She announced that she had breast cancer in 2015, with it later being revealed that she had gone into remission before it returned. In 2020, she revealed she had stage four breast cancer. In June 2023, Shannen gave a health update when she revealed that the cancer had spread to her brain.
Speaking to PEOPLE last year ahead of Thanksgiving, Shannen said: "I don't want to die." She went on: "I'm not done with living. I'm not done with loving. I'm not done with creating. I'm not done with hopefully changing things for the better." She then added: "I'm just not - I'm not done."
Shannen shot to fame when she starred as Brenda Walsh on the original Beverly Hills, 90210, which came out in 1990. She then left the show in 1994, before making a guest appearance in 2008 doe the reboot.
