(NEXSTAR) – If you’re planning to watch a Major League Baseball game this season, you’ll have a lot more to spend on food and souvenirs in some cities than others.

With just a few games left before the All-Star break, the most expensive median resale ticket is more than four times as pricey as the cheapest one, according to data from ticket app Gametime .

This year, Philadelphia’s Citizens Bank Park ($77) unseated Dodger Stadium and Petco Park in San Diego for the most expensive average ticket. The two Southern California teams were tied at the 2023 All-Star Break with a price of $59.

While other factors such as seating capacity, dynamic pricing and ease of transportation can play a role, the spike in price of admission ($56 in 2023) may come as no surprise to many. The Phillies, after reaching the National League Championship Series last year, boast the best record in baseball before the break.

While the most expensive tickets largely belong to teams with winning records, there are some exceptions, such as the Chicago Cubs in fourth place ($61) with a 43-49 record, and the San Francisco Giants in sixth place ($56) with a 45-47 record.

The cheapest average MLB ticket on Gametime is just $17 to watch the struggling Miami Marlins (down from $18 last year). At just a dollar higher are the 37-54 Los Angeles Angels.

Even with the cheap tickets, there are exceptions when it comes to win-loss records. The third cheapest seat ($21) can be found at Busch Stadium, home of the second-place St. Louis Cardinals (48-43). Minnesota fans can also take a trip to the ballpark to see their beloved Twins (52-40) for a bargain, with the average ticket price at $35.

The ticket price, of course, is just one of several times that fans will likely have to whip out their credit card or payment app.

Last year, MoneyGeek analyzed budget ticket options for the rest of the 2023 season, along with parking and concessions, to calculate how much it costs on average for a family of four to attend a game with all 30 MLB teams .

Overall, the personal finance website found that an average trip to an MLB game for a family of four costs $140.

A family visiting the most expensive team on the list in 2023, the Los Angeles Dodgers, would spend about $219, MoneyGeek found. The Marlins offered the best deal, at an average total cost of just $83.
