    Missing Bemidji area girls, ages 7 and 9, are found safe

    Authorities say two girls who were reported missing in the Bemidji area have been found and they are both safe.

    Rose Mitchell and Lumya Ryan, ages 7 and 9, respectively, were last seen Saturday night in the area of Elpine Village, a mobile home park between Bemidji and Wilton, according to the Beltrami County Sheriff's Office. Details about where they were found have not been provided.

    The sheriff's office said Rose was wearing black Under Armour shorts and a white shirt, while Lumya was waring gray shorts and a blue Under Armour tank top.

    At the time of the sheriff's news release, the girls had been missing more than 12 hours. Authorities did not release any details about the circumstances of their disappearance.
