    Police: Teen girls steal merchandise from store in Pentagon City

    ARLINGTON COUNTY, Va. ( DC News Now ) — The Arlington County Police Department (ACPD) said six teen girls stole merchandise from a store in Pentagon City on Saturday afternoon.

    Police said that at about 7:10 p.m., they were dispatched to the 1000 block of S. Hayes Street for the report of a larceny in progress.

    When officers arrived at the scene, they learned that six teen girls went into the business and stole merchandise.

    All six girls left the scene.

    Woman shot in Northeast DC

    Four of the six suspects were later found and detained at another business in the 900 block of Army Navy Drive.

    The stolen merchandise was recovered.

    Officers conducted a search for the two other girls with no luck.

    Petitions were obtained for Grand Larceny for the juvenile girls.

    The investigation is ongoing.
