Belal Muhammad Dares Sean Strickland To Accept David Goggins' Challenge

Belal Muhammad recently slammed Sean Strickland while weighing in on the former UFC middleweight champion’s feud with David Goggins.

Strickland drew the ire of the Navy SEALs by stating that none of them could endure a week of training with him. Mitch Aguiar , a Navy SEAL turned mixed martial artist, recently showed up to spar Strickland and suffered a one-sided beatdown.

Former SEAL turned fitness influencer David Goggins then challenged Strickland to a training session, which Strickland initially seemed to have accepted. However, Muhammad, who has his own feud with Strickland, dismissed the former middleweight champ as a mere troll. According to “Remember the Name,” Strickland has lost relevance since losing his title and is trying to gain clout by beefing with internet celebrities.

“I wouldn’t call it a beef. That’s what Sean is, right? He’s a troll,” Muhammad told The Schmo . “Nobody cares what he says anymore because he doesn’t have the belt anymore. So now he’s just starting to attack all these other guys, people with bigger followings and things like that, just to get attention. I knew what he was from the beginning, he’s fake, he’s not this tough guy that he says he is, not this crazy guy that he says he is. He’s just doing stuff for clout. I mean if he’s a man, you challenged David Goggins, do David Goggins’ workout, let’s see if you can push through. Let’s see how big your heart is.”

Strickland initially accused Goggins of hiding behind a phone screen, challenging the former SEAL to turn up at his gym. Goggins subsequently released a video agreeing to spar three rounds with Strickland if the UFC star did three days of training with him. Strickland answered by apologizing to Goggins after having seemingly found his mental stability. Strickland also stated that his tirade against Goggins was fueled by his frustration with the middleweight title picture.
