NOBLE COUNTY, Ohio (WTRF) — An Ohio man is behind bars after a traffic stop led to a drug-related arrest in Noble County.

According to the Noble County Sheriff’s Office, on July 8, Deputies pulled over a vehicle after observing a traffic violation. They identified Terry Ivey as the driver, who told deputies he did not have a valid driver’s license.

While speaking with Ivey, Deputies say they observed the other three occupants inside the car acting overly nervous, and would not keep their hands where deputies could see them.

According to the sheriff’s office, when the occupants were asked to exit the vehicle, Eric Pangle was seen trying to hide an object in his crotch area.

Deputies say he then threw a glass smoking pipe (meth bubble) onto the car floor.

Pangle was detained and was found to have what deputies suspected was methamphetamine.

According to deputies, Ivey was issued a citation for driving while his license was suspended, and Pangle was arrested for possession of drugs and was transported to the Noble County Jail, where he remains in custody.

Deputies say additional charges may be presented to the Noble County Grand Jury.
